A part time Residential Course
General overview:
​
Year 1 :Anthroposophical Image of Man and Health (two sessions of two weeks)
Year 2: Development of Child and Adult (two sessions of two weeks)
Year 3 : Therapeutic approaches towards hindrances in Wellbeing.(two sessions of two weeks)
Year 4 : Personal project presentation (one session of two weeks)
The Course will apply for recognition from the International Council for Curative Education and Social Therapy in Dornach. (Our previous three courses did receive the recognition)
For four candidates we will also apply for a Diploma from the same Council. This will be done for those candidates who will be part of the residential community"Friends of Camphill India" during the three years of the course. They will receive the required amount of supervised practical hours which make them eligible for a proper diploma. These candidates will be exempt from fees.
For all candidates the course comprises of seven residential sessions of each two weeks. A session in February and one in September/October
(depending on the Festival Season) To bring the Course to completion one has to attend all sessions. In case of illness one session can be missed.
The expenditure for the Course will be Rs 15,000 per session. To be paid in cash/NEFT/ cheque. The Fees include the course and your board and lodging. Your accomodation will be very simple and sharing of rooms will be the norm. The community provides organic vegetarian food.
This part time , three year course, is meant for individuals working with children and adults in need of special care. The assignments which all candidates have to complete between the sessions are always connected to the children and or adults you work with.
The course aims to build a Foundation for an Anthroposophical approach to the field of Special Needs.
We will work deeply on the study of the human nature. We will build many observation tools and stimulate our creative skills by practicing many forms of art. Eurythmy will be done on each day of the course. A research in our personal biographies will also be part of each session.
All candidates will also interact with the residents of Friends of Camphill India and taste aspects of Social Therapy.
Requirements for participation:
1. You are working in the field of special needs, with children or adults . In a school/workshop /day centre/residential community/home
2. You have a fair command over the English language.
3. You are interested in Anthroposophy.
4. You're willing to make a commitment for the entire course.
